State Building Code. This permit is for only the work described and does
not grant permission for additional or related work which requires separate

1. Obtain and pay for required building permit.
2. Provide dumpsters as needed
3. Existing dormer flashing,step flashing,skylight fitashings,skylights,chimney flashing,drip
edge(if present),and gutter apron{if present)are to remain in place and be re•used.
4. Remove existing roofing materials,underlayments(If possibte),and valtey#lashing down to
top of roof sheathing.
5. Inspect existing roof sheathing for rot and damage. All damaged sheathing MUST be
replaced and wil!be done so on a time and material basis over and above price shown
below.
6. Provide and install plywood furring at gable lines where soffit has sagged.
7. Provide and install GAF Weatherwatch ice and water shield at eaves and valleys.
8. Provide and instali GAF Shinglemate felt underiayment over roof sheathing not covered by
ice and water shield.
9. Provide and instatl GAF ProStart asphalt starter shingle at eave line only.
10. Provide and instal)GAF Timberline HD architectural asphalt shingies.
11. Provide and instali matching GAF TimberTex hip and ridge shingles.
12. Provide and install new static/ridge venting to match existing.
13. Provide and install new plumbing stack flashings and damper vents to match existing.
14. Clean up construction related debris.

Existing Fascia and Bracket Repair
1. Remove and dispose of damaged fascia and 4 wooden brackets at tocations previously
discussed.
2. Provide and instalf new brackefs to match existing as close as possible.
3. Provide and install new fascia in samelsimilar material as previously removed.
4. Painting is to be by others.

Exterior Wail Cladding Remoclel
1. Obtain and pay for required building permit.
2. Provide dumpsters as needed.
3. Demo existing stucco at areas above foundation.
4. Remove existing window trims,door trims, and band boards.
5. Remove existing shingle siding and dispose.
6. Provide and install new 60 minute double D felt underlayment
7. Provide and install new drip cap flashings as needed.
8. Provide and install new primed James Hardie soffit panei on underside of bay window.
9. Provide and instalt new primed 5l4"x 4"James Hardie window and door trims.
10. Provide and instalt new primed 5/4"x 10"James Hardie horizontal band board at foundation
to siding transition.
11. Provide and install new primed 5/4"x 10"James Hardie horizontal band board to separate
different wall cladding materials.
12. Prov3de and instali primed James Hardie shake panels above horizontai band board.
13. All painting is to be by others.

Contractor not responsible for leakage or condensation due to heat loss and/or ice dams.
Scheduling is affected by weather.
A service fee of$350.00 will be charged for all service calls(except those covered under wamanty).Any additional work
ordered by the customer not covered by the warranty shall be billed at Aitstar's rate for labor and materials.
We propose to furaish labor and materials—complete in accordance with the above specificaKons with paymeut to
be made as follows: 50%contract amount down at start of job with periodic draws based upon completion of each
scope of work.
All material is guaranteed to be as specifiecf.All w�ork shall be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard
practices. Limited to the percent allowable by law,a 1 %z%monthly service charge will be added to any ou[standing
balance not paid witivn thirty(30)days of when due. This proposal must be accepted within thiny(30)days or it is
automatically withdrawn.
