The grading generally works on paper, however the plans don't show what happens along the lot lines very well. It
appears that the concrete area to be removed by the lake turned into a block wall. Just guessing, but there may have
been a boat house there with a block foundation that is now being used as a retaining wall. I don't think that this was
expected and probably should be field reviewed.

Dear Melanie:
We reviewed the as-built grading plan dated i1-17-10. We have the following comments with
regards to engineering matters:
• The as-built plan shows the addition of two steel retaining walls on the roadside of the
house.
• The as-built plan shows a concrete block wall near the shoreline. This area was shown
as'�concrete to be removed"and it was indicated that this area was to be restored in the
approved grading plans.
• The driveway is shown as gravel and the original plan calis for concrete.
• We recommend a field visit review the site drainage changes and the concrete block wall
at the shoreline.
