�O� <br /> O 4 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> ,� ; �., <br /> ti <br /> ti <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L <br /> � ���kEsl3�g'�G NO. � $ L� �' <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTIONS 78-350(B) & 78-1288 <br /> FILE NO. 09-3391 <br /> WHEREAS, Daren Marhula, a single person (hereinafter "the Applicant") is the <br /> owner of the property located at 2100 Shadywood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter the <br /> � "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> �� <br /> � Lot 30, Block 1, WILEY'S PARK, LAKE MINNETONKA, except that part <br /> � thereof lying northwesterly of a line drawn northeasterly from the most westerly <br /> � - corner of said lot to the shore of Lake Minnetonka, which line forms an angle of <br /> 80 degrees 36 minutes with the southwesterly line of said lot, at the most westerly <br /> � corner of said lot, Hennepin County, Minnesota(hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> � <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-350(B) to allow a new home to be <br /> constructed on a property 61 feet in width at the OHWL and 69 feet in width at the 75 foot lake <br /> setback where a width of 100 feet is normally required; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1288 to allow 3,876 s.f. (28.4%) of <br /> hardcover within the 75' —250' zone where 3,417 s.f. or 25% is normally allowed in conjunction <br /> with the construction of a new home and detached garage. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 09-3391. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C Residential Zoning District which requires a <br /> minimum lot area of 21,780 s.f. or 0.5 acre and a minimum lot width of 100'. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
