You miqht ask your surveyors not to mark the corner, but I plan to have the corner marked. If I had known you were goinq to put that boulder directly on the corner pin (which I suspect you did, but am not yet certain), I wouldn't have given you permission to place it there, but it may not be a surveying problem after all. So that alleviates one of my concerns and I'll continue to allow you to keep your boulder there for the time beinq. If I want you to move it later, I'll let you know. (I think it just becomes half mine after a while? I'll look into that), however I ask that you remove the cedar chips and bricks and stop planting mums or anything on my side of the property line (that can wait until after your survey, of course. You can remove the flowers and such at that time). After that, I will take care of decoratinq my side of the rock. Upon further consideration, I've decided it best if I were not to get involved with your survey, so I will not be reimbursing you for part of the survey costs or ask for copies of your suroey. My feelinq is that it's your responsibility to survey before you plant or construct anything. I will do my own survey in the spring if Z decide to plant lakeside. Rather than taking leqal action (ie suinq you for encroachment), it seemed the less hostile route to simply point out that bricks weren't allowed down there anyways. ' Every step of the way, I've tried to be the good neiqhbor and been forgiving when you break promises, and been accommodatinq when you ask for things (like the boulder placement) . For years I tolerated the bricks and allowed , you to leave them there and tend both sides. When our relationship deteriorated, I simply asked that you respect the property line. I've asked nothing else of you, other than that you respect the property line. When you continued to cross it, I tried to show you in photographs what w�s happening, and this only angered you. Even as late as yesterday, I tried to work with you and I thought you could be reasonable. I thought We were forgetting about the past and making up and we were going to work together. Then you tell me that right after we spoke you went to City Iiall to attempt retaliation for my reporting the bricks. Really? a line of a $100 worth of bricks that you just laid in the dirt (on my property) and you're just going to try to have them take away my entire patio? That speaks volumes to your character and mentality. We both aqreed that we didn't want any hostilities. However, I want nothing to do with a person who can say they don't want hostilities and in the same breath mention such a childish act. I see no need for us to make any aqreements about anything.
