Sec.13.04 RIGHTS OF SUBJECTS OF DATA ,
- Subd. 1. Type o[data. 'Ihe rights of individual on whom the data is stond or to be stoced shall be as set forth in this secrion.
Subd.2. Iaformatlon required to be given individual. An individual asked to supply private or confidential.data conceming himself shall
be informed of: (a)the purpose and intended use of the requested data within the coltecting iate agency,political subdivision,or statewide rystem;
(b)whether he may refuse or is legally rcquired to supply the rcquested data;(c)any known consequence arising from his suppiying or rcfusing to supply
private or confidendal data;a�(d)the identiry of other persons or endties authorized by state or federal law to meive the data. This reqnirement shall
not apply when an individual is asked to suppiY investigarive data,?unvant to secrion 13.82,subdivision 5,ro a law eaforeement officer.

The purpose of this letter is to provide additional design requirements for construction of
the existing concrete masonry foundation.
BACKGROUND
A letter report was prepared by John H. Dahlmeier of J. H. Dahlmeier Engineering Inc. on
July 24, 1997 addressing the structural adequacy of the existing concrete masonry
foundation.
OBSERVATIONS AND COMMENTS
1. This letter supplements corrective measures listed in paragraph 11 letter report
dated Julv 24. 1997.
2. This letter provides specific corrective measures for the foundation footing
system.
3. A modified wall section is provided on J. H. Dahlmeier Engineering Inc. drawing
Sheet S-1 dated 8/7/97.
4. Additional underpinning of the existing footings will be required to provide
support for the system 42" below grade. Underpinning to be as follows:

a. Underpinning to be constructed spaced 8 feet apart at all corners along the
new exterior perimeter walls in existing foundation.
b. Underpinning to be 2 feet by 2 feet for non-load bearing walls and 2 feet by 3
feet for load bearing walls, constructed of plain concrete with sufficient
thickness to provide 42" frost protection.
