Dear Janice:
We have reviewed the revised survey you faxed on 9-20-OS for the proposed improvements to 1345
Rest Point Lane. The site improvements include the construction of a new home and associated
grading. We have the following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The proposed swale shown north of the home is still shown at about a 15% grade and will
have a high potential for erosion.We recommend that this swale be immediately vegetated �
with sod that is adequately staked to protect against erosion while the root system gets
established. If the grading i's done past the growing season other temporary erosion controls
such as fiber blanket or mulch should be implemented until sod is available in the spring.
• All other erosion control measures should be installed, inspected and approved by the city
prior to any work on site.
