Dear Mr. Anfinson:
It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently constructed a deck on your
home at 1350 Rest Point Circle. This letter is to inform you that a building permit is required
for deck construction in the City of Orono. Please submit the enclosed permit application with
deck plans, hardcover calculations and a survey showing the location of the deck. A review will
be conducted and if the requirements of the Building and Zoning Code are met, a permit will
be issued. Please file the permit application before May 10, 1993. If you have any questions,
feel free to contact me at my office.

Dear Mr. Anfinson:
~ On April 21, 1993 this office notified you of building permit requirements in relation to a deck
recently constructed on your property. As of this date, a building permit application has not
been received and the deck has not been removed. This letter is to require you to remove the
deck or apply for a building permit before June 8, 1993. If this deadline is not met, the City
will proceed with legal action. If you have any questions or if I can assist you in any way,
please feel free to contact me at my office.

.Dear Mr. Anfinson:
On April 21, 1993 and May 28, 1993 this office notified you of the requirement for a building
. permit for.a.dcck that was c,�nstructed on your property. On June 8, 1993 the City received a
letter from you stating that you would remove the deck by July 1, 1993. As of this date, a
portion of the deck remains.
This letter is to require you to completely remove the deck or to submit a complete building
permit application before December 30, 1993. If this deadline is not met, the City will issue
citations and refer the matter to the City Attomey for further legal action. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at my office.
