Subject: Permit Application —
Before the building official review building plans planning staff reviews building permit
applications for zoning code compliance. We are unable to complete this review for
the following reasons:
1. The building plans must reflect those approved with the variance. Vogue
Homes changed the footprint of the house to reduce hardcover. I need 11 X 17
copies of the exterior elevations to incorporate into the resolutions.
2. Plans must be subrnitted for the work required to be done on the steep slopes.
3. The drainage easement documents required as part of the variance must be
signed before the building permit is issued. The City will draft the easements
but you must provide the legal descriptions.
Regarding the demolition of 1350:
1. The contractor who will disconnect the sewer must obtain a permit before the
demolition permit is issued. This work must be completed before the actual house
demolition commences. If there are questions about this contact Lyle Oman, Building
Official at 952-249-6425.
2. The contractor who will do the demolition obtains the demolition permit. With Mr.
Baldwin's copy of this letter I am enclosing the zoning disclosure form for 1350 as well
as a demolition permit application since he must sign both forms.
