It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently filled in a portion under
an existing overhang. In reviewing our files, we find no approval for this addition. Please
submit a permit application along with building plans and energy calculations before May 10,
1993. If this deadline is not met, the City may issue citations. If you have any questions, feel

Re: Work Without Building Permit
Dear Mr. Hawkinson:
On April 21, 1993 this office notified you of the requirement for a building permit for work
being done on your residence at 1348 Rest Point Circle. On June 11, 1993 you requested an
extension until July 1, 1993 due to personal problems. I have left phone messages for you
several times since that date. As of this date, the issue remains unresolved.
Therefore, you leave the City no alternative but to initiate legal action. Action will be withheld
until December 30, 1993. If you have failed to submit a permit application by that date,
citations will be issued and the matter will be refened to the City Attorney for further legal
action. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at my office.

Re: Building Permit Application
Dear Mr. Hankinson:
On December 29, 1993 this office received a building permit for a proposed deck, screen porch,
fireplace and a storage shed attached to the house which has already been constructed. The ,�
following information is required before a review can continue:
1. A certificate of survey showing the proposed improvements. I
2. Hardcover calculations �..-.._
3. Building plans.
Due to the fact that a portion of this application is "after the fact", please submit the required
information on that portion as soon as possible. In reviewing the file on your property, I found
the work done in 1989 did not have a final inspection. This should also be scheduled as soon
as possible. If you have any questions or if I can assist you in any way, please feel free to
