Dear Crystal Bay Resident:
The sanitary sewer project in the Crystal Bay area was
completed, i.nspected and accepted on June 3.1, 1986. There are
so�re .restoration items yet to be completed.
I If you have not already done ao, you can connnect your
' residence or business to the sanitary sewer nain line.
The deadline for connection to the sewez main line is 16
months from June 11, 1986 or October 11, 1987.
' A licensed contractor is required to make this type of
�'�, connection in the City of Orono.
I� The contractor must obtain a permit from the City prior to
any work being done_
The permit fee is $30.50. A Seivic_ Availability Charge
'� (SAC) of S475.00 must be paid befare or a•z •the time the permit is
� issuec. Be advised that the City of Orono is only the collection
agency for the SAC fee. The Metropolitan Waste Control
� Commissi�n actually ieceives these monies. �

Y � For your information, your existing septic tank must be
° !, pumped and filled with approved fill when c�nnection to the sewer
