We have the following comments with regards to engineering <br /> matters: <br /> • The proposed tiered retaining walls on the west side of the proposed driveway are eight <br /> feet high. Engineered design and details should be submitted for review and approval <br /> for all retaining walls over four in height, and for all tiered walis with a separation of less <br /> than two times the wall height. <br /> • A wetland is has been conservatively located in the southwest corner of the property by <br /> John Smyth at the City's request. The project grading will not impact the wetland buffer <br /> areas. <br /> • Please see the attached memo from dated 12-8-09 from John Smyth for additional <br /> wetland buffer information and requirements. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control <br /> information meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be <br /> submitted.
