The property <br /> owner was directed to 1) apply for MCWD approval and 2)proceed to the City for approval. <br /> It has recently come to my attention that this land alteration work remains unapproved. I am writing this <br /> letter based on my conversation with you in the City offices on October 27, 2004. The City of Orono <br /> requires you to apply for a conditional use permit for the land work performed within your lakeshore yard <br /> and a hardcover variance for the retaining walls and additional hardcover within the 0-75' and the 75'- <br /> 250' setback zones. The application deadline for the after-the-fact conditional use permit and variances is <br /> December 22, 2004. The following supplementary information is required for our review: <br /> 1. Original certificate of survey, signed by licensed surveyor, indicating existing cznd proposed <br /> topography; and <br /> 2. All existing and proposed hardcover shall be calculated on the hardcover worksheets that are <br /> enclosed. The hardcover calculations must be completed by your surveyor; and <br /> 3. Existing(pre-alteration) and proposed(current) contours within the lake yard, these contours <br /> should be shown extending SO' into the neighboring properties, within 75' of the OWHL <br /> contours should be shown in one foot increments; and <br /> 4. Elevations of the top and the bottom of all retaining walls—retaining walls 4'and above will <br /> require engineered drawings and cross sections for our review; and <br /> S.
