Houghton, Klossner, and Muskego soils are mostly in depressions. Poorly drained Hamel <br /> soils are on foot and toe slopes. Moderately well drained Le Sueur and Nessel soils are on <br /> slightly elevated flats and gently convex slopes. <br /> DRAINAGE AND PERMEABILITY: Well drained. Permeability is moderate. Runoff <br /> is medium to high. <br /> USE AND VEGETATION: Mostly cropped to corn and soybeans. Some is in pasture <br /> and forest.Native vegetation is savanna. <br /> DISTRIBUTION AND EXTENT: South-central and east-central Minnesota and <br /> northeastern Iowa.
