Staff conducted a preliminary review <br /> based on the information provided and recommends the following items be submitted or revised in order for your <br /> application to be considered complete and for the plan review to continue: <br /> 1. Certificate of Survey. Our engineer has reviewed the survey and has the following comment: <br /> a. Driveway Width. The maximum driveway width allowed for a residential property is 20 feet. The <br /> minimum driveway with is eight (8) feet with radius flares of five (5) feet at the connection of the <br /> driveway to the roadway. Please update the driveway width as it connects to Orono Orchard Road <br /> South and submit and updated survey. <br /> 2. Landscape Plan. Prior to the issuance of the building permit a landscape plan must be submitted showing all <br /> the proposed exterior/landscaping improvements,i.e. patios,grading,sidewalks,retaining walls,etc. The plan <br /> should include the name of the individual performing the work. Any proposed patios, grading, sidewalks, <br /> retaining walls shown on the landscape plan should also be reflected on the survey. <br /> 3. Hardcover Calculations. The property is located in Tier 3 of the Stormwater Quality Overlay District. Please <br /> have the surveyor prepare hardcover calculations showing the proposed hardcover using the City's Hardcover <br /> Calculation Worksheet. Enclosed is a copy of the City's hardcover information packet. <br /> 4. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD). Your project may trigger the Minnehaha Creek Watershed <br /> District's (MCWDs) permitting requirements; please contact the MCWD directly at 952-471-0590 regarding <br /> your project. Please note,the City of Orono will not issue a building permit without a copy of the MCWD permit <br /> or documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger any of their permitting requirements. <br /> 5. Separate City Permits Required for: <br /> a. Demolition. Please note the demolition permit should be issued in the same month as the building <br /> permit in order to receive get the SAC credit. <br /> b. Sewer and Water Disconnection. <br /> c. Sewer and Water Connection. <br />
