• <br /> 3.0 FRAMING <br /> 3.1 Appliance Placement <br /> Considerations <br /> WARNING:Due to high temperatures, the appliance should be <br /> located out of traffic and away from furniture and draperies. <br /> • This appliance must be installed on a level surface capable <br /> of supporting the fireplace and venting.If possible,place the STAND-OFF BRACKETS,AS SHIPPED <br /> fireplace in a position where the vent terminates between two <br /> studs,eliminating the need for any additional framing. <br /> • This fireplace may be installed in a bedroom. <br /> • Please be aware of the large amount of heat this fireplace will <br /> produce when determining a location. <br /> 3.2 Stand-off Assembly and Installation <br /> WARNING: The top stand-offs brackets provide the required <br /> minimum clearance to the header. The 1 in (25mm) top <br /> stand-off flange accommodates 1/2 in (12mm) combustible <br /> facing material(sheetrock). The clearance to header must be <br /> maintained. <br /> Top stand-off brackets must be formed and attached prior to <br /> positioning fireplace into framed opening. <br /> 1. Remove and save(4)screws securing the stand-off brackets <br /> on top of the fireplace. <br /> 2. Form each stand-off bracket by bending at perforations,as <br /> shown. <br /> 3.
