Struyk Orono and St. Bonifa(ir(s <br /> 40 Orono Orchard Road North <br /> Wayzata, MN 55391 <br /> Re: Surface Discharge of Septic Effluent and Septic System <br /> Replacement <br /> Dear Mr. Struyk: <br /> As you know from our recent telephone conversation, this office has <br /> been authorized by the City of Orono to file a criminal complaint <br /> relating to recurring surface discharge of septic effluent at your <br /> residence. The City is willing to withhold taking this action if <br /> it can be satisfied that you are taking appropriate steps to <br /> prevent recurrence of this problem. <br /> The City will withhold any further enforcement action provided the <br /> you do all of the following: <br /> 1) Replace the septic system with a proper system by June 15, <br /> 1995; <br /> 2) Have the septic tanks pumped at least every 60 days, and <br /> more frequently if required to prevent surface discharge, <br /> until the system is replaced; <br /> 3) Submit to the City a pumping contract showing that you have <br /> contracted for the required pumping; and <br /> 4) Have no further surface discharges of septic effluent prior <br /> to replacement of the system. <br /> If you agree to these conditions, please sign in the space provided <br /> below and return a copy of this signed letter to me along with the <br /> pumping contract referenced above by no later than January 15, <br /> 1995.
