A summary of the inspection <br /> is below. <br /> Septic Tank Conditiol <br /> 1. Pumpout not needed at this time. <br /> The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance between the bottom <br /> of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code,not a City <br /> Code. A soil boringconducted to determine the depth of the seasonally watertable. The septic <br /> system must be replace by December 31,2010. <br /> Enclosed is a list of st to licensed septic contractors who work in Orono on a regular basis. Also <br /> s <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet xplaining how a septic system functions properly.
