KILKENNY SERIES <br /> The Kilkenny series consists of very deep,moderately well drained soils that formed in a <br /> mantle of clayey glacial till or flow till and underlying loamy glacial till on moraines. <br /> These soils hamoderately slow permeability. Their slopes range from 2 to 35 percent. <br /> The mean annul precipitation is about 28 inches. Mean annual air temperature is about <br /> 48 degrees F. <br /> TAXONOMICLASS: Fine, smectitic,mesic Oxyaquic Vertic Hapludalfs <br /> TYPICAL PE ON: Kilkenny clay loam with a 15 percent linear sideslope on a glacial <br /> moraine in a pa tured field.
