Existing survey will probably work. However there should be something from the
engineer that the design works for the new location. Especially since the last design was missing key info—Soils.
Melanie Curtis
W952.249.4627 6Imcurtis©ci.orono.mn.us
From: Gustafson, Sven [mailto:Sven@stonewood.com]
Sent: Friday, February 09, 2018 8:46 AM
To: Melanie Curtis<MCurtis@ci.orono.mn.us>
Cc: Steve Clinton <Steve@stonewood.com>
Subject: Lake Patio Structure replacement
Melanie—
Our client has asked us to replace the lakeside patio and wall system on this home—Santrach—Bohns point. Remove
and replace the patio and block walls that exist. Replace in kind. Replace retaining wall to the left—toward 1700
property line—to match the boulder wall work done last year.
We need to get going quickly to stay ahead of road restrictions. Do we submit a normal building permit? Current survey
should work, as we're replacing in kind? Wall engineering—same as boulder walls that Yardscape installed last year that
abut the structure.
Any way to fast track this super simple permit? ;-)
Sven
J.
