E. Remove existing stone steps(dark green color on design, marked `E) on the west <br /> side of the house to maintain a uniform width of 30". Existing steps vary from 18 to <br /> 30" (see photos for Section E,pages 10-11). More steps (light green) will be built to <br /> extend the steps to the driveway,maintaining a 30"width Proposed improvement <br /> results in an addition to hardcover area of 65.84 square feet. <br /> F. Repair existing brick retaining walls (purple on design, marked 'F') on east and west <br /> sides of house(see photos for Section F,page 12). Remove small limestone wall on • <br /> east side, dig frost footing and replace with a low brick wall that is incorporated into <br /> the adjacent brick wall. Please note the following: 1.)The survey identifies the west <br /> wall as stone,but it is a brick mortared. 2.)Existing limestone wall on east side does <br /> not overlap brick wall as shown on survey. Proposed improvement results in no <br /> additions to hardcover area. <br /> G. Remove concrete retaining wall by boathouse and replace with a tiered,dry laid <br /> bluestone boulder wall (blue color on design, marked `G) (See drawings and photos <br /> for Section G,page 13). This will be the same type of wall as what is proposed for <br /> Section D(see example photos and drawings for section D,page 9). Proposed <br /> improvement results in an addition to hardcover area of 9.84 square feet. <br /> H. Repair stone walk by boathouse(yellow color on design, marked 'H') (see photos for <br /> Section H,page 13). Please note that the survey identifies this as a concrete walk, <br /> however, it is a stone path. Proposed improvement results in no additions to <br /> hardcover area. <br /> 2 <br />
