DISTRIBUTION AND EXTENT: Primarily in the southeast one-quarter of Minnesota <br /> in the timbered, hilly, "gray" till region. Moderately extensive. <br /> MLRA OFFICE RESPONSIBLE: St. Paul, Minnesota <br /> 111 SERIES ESTABLISHED: Hennepin County, Minnesota, 1969. <br /> REMARKS: Diagnostic horizons and features recognized in this pedon are: mollic <br /> ' epipedon-the zone from the surface to a depth of 40 inches (Ap, A,AB and Btgl); <br /> argillic horizon -the zone from 24 to 46 inches (Btgl, Btg2,).
