We were
asked to prepared this report (the Survey) and report the findings of the
Survey.
The reason for the visit is to identify friable and non-friable asbestos
containing materials which may become friable during
renovation/demolition.
The home is approximately 112 years old and has 2 levels and is
approximately 1,994 sq. ft. The home is made of concrete footings and block
foundation with concrete flooring in the full basement. It is wood framed
and sided with Transite Asbestos overlayment. There are hardwood floors
throughout. The walls and ceiling are sheetrock w/mud, wood with paper,
and plaster. The walls are insulated with hay and the attic has cellulose and
fiberglass. There is a newer furnace and ducting. Shed#1 has concrete
footings and block foundation and it is wood framed and sided with concrete
flooring. Shed#2 was locked but is an all metal structure with wood
flooring. Shed#3 and #4 are both wood framed and sided with dirt flooring.
All three wood framed sheds and the house have asphalt roofing.
This Survey represented by Richard Pruitt on October 4, 2012.
