We offer the following comments for your consideration: <br /> 1. Perimeter erosion control measures(siltfence,rock entrance, etc.)and septic field protection fencing <br /> should be installed by the Contractor and inspected by the City prior to any other work. Contractor <br /> must provide minimum 24 hour notice prior to inspection. <br /> 2. Contractor must exercise care during construction to not block traffic on Orchard Park Road.Clear <br /> drive lanes must be maintained at all times. All vehicles and equipment should be parked on site <br /> during construction. <br /> 3. Retaining walls 4' or greater in height must be designed by a licensed Professional Engineer. Tiered <br /> walls must be separated horizontally by at least double the height of the lower wall, or they shall be <br /> considered one wall. Plans should be submitted prior to construction. <br /> 4. Biologs or erosion control blanket should be installed in swale bottoms after grading is complete to <br /> minimize erosion potential. <br /> 5. The applicant will be required to obtain a Minnehaha Creek Watershed District permit.
