Call for inspections 24 hours in advance. <br /> NOTICE TO GENERAL CONTRACTORS: Primary and alternate drainfield sites MUST be protected <br /> prior to and after system installation to avoid compaction of the natural soil. <br /> ALL DRAINFIELD AREAS MUST BE FENCED OFF prior to building site excavation and fencing must <br /> remain in place until final site grading. Approval to pour footings will not be granted <br /> until the Inspections Department has verified that primary and alternate sites are <br /> adequately protected. <br /> NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OF ANY RIND (cars, trucks, earth moving equipment, etc.) is allowed <br /> within 20' of tested drainfield sites either before or after system construction. This <br /> applies to the lot you are working on and all adjacent lots. You could be held liable for <br /> damaging sites on neighboring lots. <br /> VEHICULAR TRAFFIC CAN CAUSE SOIL COMPACTION, RENDERING DRAINFIELD SITES UNUSABLE. <br /> Evidence of traffic on drainfield sites may be cause for revocation of building permits. <br /> Damaged alternate sites must be replaced before a Certificate of Occupancy will be issued. <br /> Ar <br /> Date Approved By ity of Orono <br />
