RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ikES110' No. 5 9 1 3 <br /> applicants; and would be in keeping with the spirit and intent of the Zoning Code <br /> and Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br /> CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br /> Based upon one or more of the above findings, the Orono City Council hereby grants a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1434 Subdivision 1 to allow construction <br /> of an additional 3,000 square foot oversized accessory building on the property where a 1,200 <br /> square foot oversized accessory building already exists, subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Council approval is based on the site plan and building plan submitted by the applicants <br /> and annotated by City staff, attached to this Resolution as Exhibits A & B. Any <br /> amendments to the site plan which are not in conformity with City codes will require <br /> further Planning Commission and City Council review. <br /> 2. The 3,000 square foot oversized accessory structure is not to be used to house animals. <br /> 3. The exterior finish of the 3,000 square foot oversized accessory structure should match <br /> the existing house and barn on the property. <br /> 4. With this variance approval the property shall be limited to 4,200 square feet of total <br /> accessory structures. <br /> 5. Compliance with City Code Sections 78-1600 through 78-1614 regarding wetlands is <br /> required with the issuance of a building permit for the oversized accessory structure. <br /> 6. ADDITIONAL SURVEYS REQUIRED: <br /> a. Per City Code Section 86-68, a survey or certified letter from a surveyor is <br /> required to be submitted confirming the approved location prior to <br /> commencement of framing; and <br /> b. An as-built grading plan verifying compliance with the building permit, <br /> stormwater management, wetland regulations, grading and drainage plans shall be <br /> submitted prior to the final inspection. <br /> 7. The building plans submitted for building permit will be reviewed to ensure compliance <br /> with the City's building height regulation. <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />
