°itt" <br /> , CITY of ORONO <br /> Y$'� +� - _ p RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ikesiloV" NO. 5 9 1 3 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-1434 (1) <br /> FILE NO. 10-3440 <br /> WHEREAS, Robert Sansevere and Mary Sansevere, husband and wife <br /> (hereinafter "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 745 Orchard Park Road, <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> That part of the North 25 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter <br /> of Section 31, township 118 North, Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian <br /> lying South of State Highway No. 110, EXCEPT the West 245 feet thereof. <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota(hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1434 subdivision 1 to allow construction <br /> of a 3,000 square foot accessory building on their property where a 1,200 square foot accessory <br /> structure already exists. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 10-3440. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1A Rural Residential Zoning District which <br /> requires a minimum lot area of 5.0 acres and a minimum lot width of 300'. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br /> January 19, 2010 and recommended approval of variance based on the following <br /> findings: <br /> a. The property contains 9.45 acres or 411,983 s.f. in area and has 483' in width. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
