I'm working on the number of stories <br /> calculation and trying to determine if the lowest level meets the City's basement definition. The first floor elevation is <br /> shown as 1008.8'which results in 1002.8' being the determining elevation 6 feet or less(see below definitions). To help <br /> with this calculation, please show the 1002.8'contour on the survey through the house. <br /> In order for the lowest level to qualify as a basement at least 50%of the perimeter must be at the 1002.8'elevation or <br /> lower.
