Christine Mattson
From: Melanie Curtis
Sent: Friday, November 01, 2013 3:31 PM
To: 'Mark P Way'; toddholmers@gmail.com; 'Jamison Kohout'
Cc: Lyle Oman; Willie Gibbs; Jesse Struve; Christine Mattson
Subject: RE: 2339 Olive Avenue
Gentlemen
We received a phone call today from the homeowner, Andrew Pratt, who is currently occupying the home at 2339 Olive
Avenue. He was inquiring how he could final out his building permit... This is troubling because this is Atlas Homes Inc's
responsibility, and most importantly, we have not issued a Certificate of Occupancy. The home should NOT be occupied
right now, period.
You were specifically made aware by the email below (dated 10/30/2013) that a CO had not been issued, and would not
be issued until the as-built survey and hardcover calculations were received and approved by us. We notified Mr. Pratt
today that he did not have the proper City authorization to be living in the home.
I would like to set up a meeting to discuss with all of you how to better work together moving forward. I believe you
continue to invest in properties in Orono for the purposes of development and/or re-development. I would like to avoid
having to micromanage each of the projects; we do not have the manpower to do this and it is completely avoidable. We
are available next week on Wednesday or Thursday mornings between 8:30 and 10.
Please let me know which day and time works best for you and I will schedule it.
Thank you!!
