Based on what <br /> he could see, he has the following comments: <br /> 1. The grading plan does not appear to show and proposed changes to grade. However Sheet Al of the building <br /> plan depicts the installation of a French drain system. <br /> 2. The grading plan does not depict perimeter sediment/erosion control measures. The grading plan should be <br /> revised to indicate perimeter erosion control measures(silt fence, bio logs,etc.)down gradient from proposed <br /> work. Measures must be installed by the contractor and inspected by the City prior to any work.Contractor <br /> must provide a minimum 24 hour notice prior to inspection. <br /> 3. Special care will need to be exercised in creating the drainage pattern on the side of the property to ensure that <br /> roof run off is not directed onto the neighboring properties. The French drain shown on Sheet Al is likely there <br /> to address this concern but should be shown on the grading plan. <br /> Please have your surveyor address the above comments and submit an updated survey for our review. Please provide <br /> the updated survey in a larger scale or an inset of the house and French Drain. We are able to print up to 11 x 17", if the <br /> survey is larger than that two,full-size copies will need to be submitted to our office.
