This property was provided with and assessed for municipal sewer in 1963,and was incorporated <br /> into the Metropolitan Urban Service Area(MUSA)in 1993. When"Breckenridge"was platted in 1985,the <br /> City had not yet placed this or adjacent properties into the MUSA, so a'special exception'was granted for <br /> it to be sewered(see attached Resolution No. 1697). The final plat approval(attached Resolution No. 1729) <br /> noted 3 conditions to obtain a building permit: <br /> 1. Metro Waste Control permit to connect to Metro sewer line. <br /> 2. Driveway access permit from Hennepin County. <br /> 3. $225 sewer unit charge. <br /> Conditions 2 and 3 are still pertinent. Condition 1 is no longer pertinent,because the Metro line to which <br /> you would be connecting has been reconveyed to City ownership. <br /> A stub to serve this property appears on the 1963 as-built sewer maps (attached). Given the various <br /> additional utility lines added in this area over the years,we are in no position to guarantee that this stub is <br /> actually still there. However, your plumber would be allowed to tap a new stub into the sewer if the <br /> indicated stub is not found,at your cost. <br /> The Met Council's$1,050 Sewer Availability Charge(SAC)would be collected at the time a building permit <br /> is issued. <br /> We have assigned this parcel the address of 1250 Old Crystal Bay Road South,with the expectation that the <br /> driveway will access to Old Crystal Bay Road.
