t Y <br /> Opp CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. <br /> 6835 <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> APPROVING A PRELINIINARY PLAT FOR SOUTHWAYS <br /> FILE NO. 18-3998 <br /> WHEREAS,on December 13, 2017, James R and Mary Joann Jundt,husband and <br /> wife ("Applicant[s]"), applied for a preliminary plat for the property legally described in Exhibit A, <br /> (hereinafter the"Property"); <br /> WHEREAS,on February 20th,after published and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, at which <br /> time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to <br /> speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 20th, 2018, the Planning Commission recommended <br /> approval of the preliminary plat; and <br /> WHEREAS,on February 26,2018,the City Council reviewed the application and <br /> the recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota hereby approves the requested preliminary plat as described above based on one or <br /> more of the following findings of fact concerning the Property: <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT: <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #18-3998. The analysis contained within <br /> staff memos and the exhibits attached to the aforesaid memos, all minutes from the above <br /> mentioned meetings, and any and all other materials distributed at these meetings are <br /> hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the LR-1A Zoning District. <br /> 3. The property is guided for Low Density Residential in the 2030 Community Management <br /> Plan. <br /> 4. The Property contains 13.78 acres in area and has a defined lot width of over 1000 feet on <br /> the west side ad over 600 feet on the east side. <br /> 1 <br />
