Funk to provide criteria for the design <br /> and installation of an ildividual sanitary sewage treatment <br /> system to handle the sewage flow generated by water-use <br /> appliances within a single family dwelling. <br /> Procedure <br /> A total of three (3) soi . percolation tests were performed on <br /> April 4, 1992 at a repre entative areas to the east of the <br /> dwelling, and three (3) soil percolation tests were performed on <br /> September 16, 1992 to the northeast of the dwelling. <br /> In addition' six (6) soil borings were drilled with a 2" i . d. x 3 <br /> 1/4" o. d. Hand auger to check for the position of the ground <br /> water table and to identf. fy the underlying soil types. Location <br /> of tests and borings are shown on the site plan. <br /> The percolation tests were performed in accordance with the <br /> / <br /> provisions of "Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Rules and <br /> Standards Chapter 7080. " The percolation tests holes were <br /> ' drilled to a alternate depth of 12 inches with a 5" i . d. x <br /> 6" o.d. auger . Two inch .s of pea gravel were placed in the <br /> bottom of each hole t event scoring. Water was then added to <br /> the test holes and replerished as necessary, maintaining a <br /> 12-inch head of water ov r the bottom. After a period of <br /> saturation, each hole wa refilled to a 12-inch head of water <br /> over the bottom, and the | percolation tests commenced. . <br />
