The owner of any <br /> �---individual sewage treatment system Should properly clean the <br /> septic tank or tanks at least once every two (2) years or <br /> sooner if necessary in order to prevent the sludge from <br /> reaching any point closer than 12" from the bottom of the <br /> outlet baffle or the scum from reaching a point closer than <br /> 3-inches above the bottom of the outlet baffle. <br /> Drainage and final Landscaping <br /> T- <br /> All surface waters � must be kept away from the mound area. A <br /> drainage plan should be completed to ensure that surface <br /> run-off from roof ,4pnd parking surfaces are drained away from <br /> the system. <br /> To help the functining of the mound system, it must be <br /> sodded or seeded. Shrubbery can be planted around the base, <br /> but NOT on top of the mound. If sod is not feesable the <br /> � <br /> � <br /> mound area shall be covered with hay and seeded as to <br /> • prevent errosion. <br /> A water meter must be installed to measure all water <br /> entering this system. <br /> NOTE: If a chlorinated Hot tub is installed in the house <br /> this must be daylioh_� <br /> ted and not plumbed into the septic <br /> L <br /> � <br /> system.
