Garbage disposals are not <br /> recommended, due to adding more solids &fine solids passing through to the system. <br /> Excessive amounts of soaps, anti-bacterial soaps, cleaning agents, shower cleaners <br /> used every shower & chlorine agents may kill the bacteria needed to treat septic <br /> effluent. Additives are not recommended.
