City Cole Section 78-966 states permits are required for filling and <br /> grading within the City of Orono. A copy of City Code Section 78-966 is attached for your <br /> reference. During our phone conversation on October 5, 2012, you were informed land <br /> alterations of 500 cy or less requite a minor land alteration permit. An after-the-fact (double fee) <br /> Zoning Permit is required. <br /> We received a hand-drawn plan Ifor the fill brought to the property on October 12, 2012. The <br /> information provided is not sufficient for a permit. Please submit an updated survey reflecting <br /> the pre-existing topography and the proposed work for review. <br /> The property is currently in violation of City Code Section 78-966; in order to bring the property <br /> into compliance you must submit a complete zoning permit application. This letter will serve <br /> as your notice a zoning pelrn it application, including all required submittals, must be <br /> submitted or the fill must be removed and the site restored to pre-fill grades before <br /> October 29, 2012. <br /> Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
