At the Federal level the wetlands are <br /> regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. <br /> To construct the entrance drive a portion of the wetland area will be filled. The wetland <br /> alterations and 2:1 compensatory mitigation should be reviewed and approved by the <br /> Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (LGU) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. <br /> The site drainage is routed through an established drainage route through proposed <br /> culverts. Runoff and ponding calculations for the culvert design should be provided for our <br /> review. Also, there is a high potential for erosion at the south end of the parking that <br /> should be addressed.
