shall be paid by the party desiring to record such short-form <br /> lease. <br /> 27. NOTICES : PAYMENTS. Each provision of this Lease or of <br /> any applicable governmental laws, ordinances, regulations and <br /> other requirements with reference to the sending, mailing or <br /> delivery of any notice or the making of any payment by Tenant to <br /> Lessor shall be deemed to be complied with when and if the <br /> following steps are taken: <br /> A. Any payments required to be made by Tenant to Lessor <br /> hereunder shall be payable to Lessor at the address <br /> hereinbelow set forth, or at such other address as Lessor <br /> may specify from time to time by written notice delivered in <br /> accordance herewith. <br /> B. All payments, if any, required to be made by Lessor to <br /> Tenant hereunder shall be payable to Tenant at the address <br /> hereinbelow set forth, or at such other address as Tenant <br /> may specify from time to time by written notice delivered in <br /> accordance herewith. <br /> C. Any notice or document required or permitted to be <br /> given or delivered hereunder shall be in writing, and shall <br /> be deemed to be given or delivered when deposited in the <br /> United States mail, postage prepaid, certified or registered <br /> mail, return receipt requested, addressed to the respective <br /> parties hereto at the respective addresses hereinbelow set <br /> forth, or at such other addresses as they have theretofore <br /> specified by written notice in accordance herewith: <br /> 1. INVALIDITY. If any part of this Lease or any part of <br /> any provision hereof shall be adjudicated to be void or invalid, <br /> then the remaining provisions hereof not specifically so <br /> adjudicated to be invalid shall be executed without reference to <br /> the part or portion so adjudicated, insofar as such remaining <br /> provisions are capable of execution. <br /> 29 . GOVERNING LAW. This Lease shall be subject to and <br /> governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and all questions <br /> concerning the meaning and intention of the terms of this Lease <br /> -12- <br />
