E. Gate frames shall be 1.90" O.D. schedule 40 pipe welded at each corner.Braces and <br /> trusses shall be furnished when necessary. <br /> F. Gate fabric to be the same as specified for the fence. <br /> G. Post braces shall be used at each gate,corner,pull and end posts. Post brace shall consist <br /> of a round tubular brace extending to each adjacent line post at mid-height of fabric,and a <br /> truss consisting of a rod not less than 3/8" diameter from the line post back to gate,corner, <br /> pull or end posts,with a turnbuckle for adjustment. <br /> H. Post tops(ornamental tops)shall be fitted over outside of posts to exclude moisture from <br /> tubular posts. <br /> I. Stretcher bars shall be made of steel bars 3/16"x 3/4",2" shorter than full height of fabric. <br /> Provide where attaching fabric to all terminal posts,threaded through fabric. Stretcher <br /> bars shall be provided for each gate,end post and two at each corner and pull post. <br /> J. Coil spring galvanized steel tension wire shall be 6 gauge diameter stretched along the <br /> bottom of the fence and fastened with 9 gauge diameter galvanized steel hog rings at <br /> intervals of 2 feet unless bottom rail is shown in fence detail on plans. <br /> K. All dimensions and gauges of material are subject to accepted industry tolerance <br /> standards. Any required field touch-up will be in compliance with manufacturer's <br /> instructions. Jobsite shall be cleared of excess spoilage of concrete, cut wires,etc.,and <br /> post hole excavation shall be disposed of off the limits of the site. <br /> L. Upon request of the owner or authorized representative, samples of each component shall <br /> be submitted for approval prior to fabrication and shipment of fencing for this project. <br /> Mill certificates shall confirm compliance with these specifications and fabrication from <br /> domestic produced steel. <br /> M. Any material found not to be in compliance with this specification shall be removed and <br /> replaced at contractors expense. <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 POST SETTINGS <br /> A. Line and terminal posts to be of sufficient length to allow for approximately 36" settings <br /> into concrete footings. Footing diameter to be 10" for line posts and 12" for corner and <br /> terminal posts. Line post spacings not to exceed 10'-0" o.c.
