Hubless cast-iron,ASTM Standard A888 is specified as an optional material for the above ground storm in <br /> Section 22 14 13,part 2,of the submitted project specifications. Please note that this standard is not <br /> currently approved for any kind of plumbing pipe material inside or outside of the building. The cast iron <br /> must meet the quality standards specified in Minnesota Rules part 4715.0560. Please verify that only code <br /> approved materials will be used. <br /> 20. The plumbing system shall be tested in accordance with Minnesota Rules, part 4715.2820. <br /> NOTE(S): <br /> 1. The scope of this project consists of the remodel of an existing building. The plumbing installation includes <br /> science lab sinks,under-sink acid neutralization tanks,dishwashers for the science labware,emergency <br /> eyewash units and emergency eyewash and shower units with emergency-type thermostatic mixing valves, <br /> classroom sinks,solids interceptor, flush-valve water closets,urinals, lavatories,wash fountains, electric <br /> water coolers,drinking fountains,mop sinks, showers,a laundry tub,a water softener system,water heaters, <br /> a double-walled heat exchanger,and floor drains. <br /> This installation also includes new water supply connections to the garbage can washer and the ice machine, <br /> and the rerouting of existing sections of interior rainwater leaders. <br /> 2. This facility will be served by existing municipal sewer and water service connections. <br /> 3. The Minnesota Plumbing Code is available on our website at:www.dli.mn.gov/CCLD/Plumbing.asp <br /> Authorization for construction in accordance with the approved plans may be withdrawn if construction is not <br /> undertaken within a period of two years.
