Cs-si A( (3411 Ro,c/ ILL <br /> We are NOT able to grant approval at this time of the plans and specifications submitted for the <br /> above-designated project. The following comments outline the changes and/or additional <br /> information that must be submitted so that we can further evaluate the plans and specifications for <br /> compliance with the standards of this department: <br /> 1. The site utility plan submitted to our office and reviewed under Plan No. 087547, shows the <br /> building sewer located to the south of the water service. The floor plan for the interior plumbing, <br /> Sheet No. A201, shows the building sewer located to the north of the water service. Please <br /> review and revise the plans were necessary. <br /> 2. Two overflow roof drains appear to be shown in Key Note No. 4, Sheet No. A201. The roof <br /> plan, Sheet No. A202, shows scuppers rather that overflow roof drains. Please revise the plans to <br /> show corresponding plumbing systems. <br /> 3. The flammable waste interceptor outlet is more than 25 feet from a vented drain. Therefore, the <br /> discharge line must be provided with a 2-inch minimum vent pipe installed within 25 feet of the <br /> interceptor(see Minnesota Rules, part 4715.1120). This vent must not connect with the vent <br /> serving the flammable waste interceptor. Please revise the plans to show the location of this <br /> vent. <br /> 4. Please revise the plans to show the location of the full-size vent stack in the building. A full-size <br /> vent stack (3-inch minimum) must be provided for every building (see Minnesota Rules, <br /> part 4715.2520, subpart 1). This stack must be continuous in size from its base to its terminal <br /> and should be the most remote stack from the location where the building drain leaves the <br /> building. <br /> This information can be provided to you in alternative formats(Braille,large print or audiotape). <br /> An Equal Opportunity Employer <br />
