<br />This year's Green Award
<br />recipients are Don and Bar-
<br />bara Shelby. The Excelsior
<br />couple is being recognized for
<br />their advocacy for a cleaner
<br />and more sustainable environ-
<br />ment.
<br />Previous winners of the
<br />Green Award include Min-
<br />netonka High School's Earth
<br />Club (2007), Scenic Heights
<br />Elementary School's Outdoor
<br />Learning Center (2008), Ton-
<br />ka Blue (2009) and Up on
<br />Green (2010).
<br />The awards will be pre-
<br />sented at the Chamber's
<br />"Party of the Year" on March
<br />3 at the BayView Event Cen-
<br />ter. The event will highlight
<br />the "season we all live for -

<br />the 2012 Art on the Lake Art
<br />Scholarship Fund, as well as

<br />SECTION 800 ENTITLED PUB-
<br />LIC GROUNDS - REGULATION
<br />The City Council of the City of
<br />Deephaven, Minnesota, does hereby
<br />ordain:
<br />Section 1. Section 800.05 entitled Boat
<br />Launch Regulations is hereby added
<br />as follows:

<br />Regulations
<br />Subd. 1. Weight Restrictions. The total
<br />combined weight of the vehicle, trail-
<br />er, and watercraft using the public
<br />launch shall not exceed two (2) tons'
<br />per axle.
<br />Subd. 2. Separate Launch Lanes. The
<br />public launch shall be divided into
<br />two separate launch lanes to enable
<br />the launching and retrieval of two
<br />watercrafts simultaneously. Users of
<br />the public launch shall launch and
<br />retrieve their watercraft from either
<br />lane and shall be prohibited from
<br />launching or retrieving their water-
<br />craft from the center portion of the
<br />launch. .

<br />The City Council of the City of
<br />Deephaven, Minnesota, does hereby

<br />Section 1. Section 235.04, Subd. 2
<br />entitled Meetings and Reports is here-
<br />by amended as follows:
<br />The Committee shall hold
<br />at least one (1) regular meeting on the
<br />first Tuesday Weiftesel of each
<br />month, as business may require, and
<br />such additional meetings as may be
<br />required following twenty-four hours
<br />notice by the Chair or at the request
<br />of a majority of the members of the
<br />Park Committee. It shall adopt rules
<br />for the transaction of business and

<br />findings. On or about August fif-
<br />teenth of each year, the Committee

<br />AM and 9:30 PM. This restriction
<br />will not apply to office uses.
<br />(2) Normal business
<br />hours for establishments legally
<br />licensed to sell intoxicating beverages
<br />shall be 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM unless
<br />amended by the City Council as part
<br />of the special use permit review.
<br />(3) Businesses on proper-
<br />ty adjacent to a residential district
<br />may be open for loading or shipment
<br />only between the hours of 7:00 AM
<br />and 9:30 PM.
<br />(4) Interior and exterior
<br />lighted signs permitted to businesses
<br />may operate during business hours
<br />only.
