As we discussed, I received your March 8 letter <br /> on Saturday, and was very surprised to learn that a search <br /> had been made of my property without my permission. <br /> I read the enclosed Code Section 9. 50 , and do not <br /> understand how it applies to me. As I explained to you, <br /> I would disagree with the statement that all of these vehicles <br /> are unlicensed. Collectors plates do not expire. Seven <br /> of the nine vehicles are within the collectors classification. <br /> Neither is are all of the vehicles in my collection <br /> inoperable. As I read Section 9. 50, it applies to an "inoper- <br /> able motor vehicle lacking essential parts . " As defined, <br /> I do not believe my cars are missing those parts . <br /> As we discussed, these cars are of considerable <br /> value. It is fully my intention to house and protect them <br /> at my earliest opportunity. I will be garaging my collec- <br /> tion to protect my investment . <br /> I am in the process of buying the property immediately <br /> to the south. The closing is now set for March 15. As soon <br /> as conditions permit , I would hope to build a pole shed on <br /> that property to house most of my cars . I would like to <br />
