ITEM NO. 3 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: ORONO CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: JESSICA LOFTUS, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />SUBJECT: SUBCOMMITTEE WITH ORONO SCHOOLS <br />DATE: APRIL 25, 2016 <br />In March, Councilmember Walsh reported meeting with Orono Schools at their <br />request to discuss safety concerns and road improvements. Pursuant to that meeting <br />their staff provided the attached list of traffic improvements funded by Orono <br />Schools over the past five years. <br />Councilmember Walsh suggested the City Council could formalize a subcommittee to <br />meet regularly with Orono schools. Staff is requesting direction on how to move <br />forward. <br />
