<br />PARK AND TRAIL EASEMENT
<br />ALFRED J. BATES, a single person, hereinafter refesed to as "Grantor", in consideration
<br />of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of
<br />which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant unto the CITY OF LONG LAKE, a municipal
<br />corporation organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota, the Grantee, hmvinafer rcferred to
<br />as the "City", its successors and assigns, forever, a permanent easement far public park and t Wlway
<br />purposes over, across, on, and through all of Outiots C and D, WOLF POINTE WOODS, Hennepin,
<br />County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof
<br />INCLUDING the rights of the City, its contractors, agents, servants, and assigns, to enter
<br />upon the easement premises at all reasonable timcs to constnu t, reconstruct, inspect, repair, and
<br />maintain said public park and trailway systems over, across, on, under, and through the easement
<br />premises, together with the right to grade, level, fill, drain, pave, and excavate the easement
<br />premises, and the further right to remove trees, bushes, undergrowth, and other obstructions
<br />interfering with the location, constmetion, and maintenance of said public park and trailway
<br />systems. The City shall be responsible for maintaining the park and trail and any area it is actively
<br />occupying, and defending any claims arising out of the public use of the park and trail, and shall not
