I MW" <br />Purpose. <br />The purpose of Minnesota's Open Meeting Law is: <br />a.) to prohibit public actions from being taken at secret meetings where it is <br />impossible for the interested public to detect improper influence; <br />b.) to ensure the public's right to be informed; and <br />c.) to afford the public an opportunity to present its views. <br />k-11.
