2. Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings from manufacturers of TVSS equipment including dimensioned plans, <br /> sections,and elevations. Show tabulations of installed devices,major features,and voltage rating. Include the <br /> following: <br /> a. Enclosure type with details. <br /> b. Bus configuration and current ratings. <br /> C. Short-circuit current rating of assembly. <br /> d. Features, characteristics, ratings, and factory settings of individual protective devices and auxiliary <br /> components. <br /> e. Wiring Diagrams: Details of schematic diagram including control wiring and differentiating between <br /> manufacturer-and field-installed wiring. <br /> f. Dimensional drawing of each surge suppression device type indicating mounting arrangements. <br /> g. UL 1449-1998 clamp voltage documentation. <br /> 3. Maintenance Data: Submit maintenance data for switchboard and panelboard components, for inclusion in <br /> Operating, Maintenance and Warranty Data Manual specified in Division 1 and in Section 16010, "Basic <br /> Electrical Requirements." Include manufacturer's written instructions for testing. <br /> 4. Qualification Data: Submit for firms and persons specified in"Quality Assurance"Article. <br /> 5. Field Test Reports: Indicate and interpret test results for compliance performance requirements. <br /> 1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Codes and Standards: <br /> 1. Electrical Component Standard: Comply with NFPA 70, "National Electrical Code" for components and <br /> installation. <br /> 2. UL Standards: Comply with UL 1449(2nd Edition),UL 1283 and(UL 67 only for internal panelboard units). <br /> 3. Listing and Labeling: Provide products specified in this Section that are "Listed"and"Labeled". <br /> a. The Terms"Listed" and"Labeled": As defined in the National Electrical Code,Article 100. <br /> 4. FCC Emission Standard,Part 15, Subpart J for Class A applications. <br /> 5. Federal Information Processing Standards Publication 94,FIPS pub 94. <br /> 6. American National Standards Institute and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (ANSI/IEEE <br /> C62.41-1991 Categories A,B and C,and C62.45-1992). <br /> 7. Canadian Standards Association(CSA). <br /> B. Exceptions: List any exceptions,included with the Bid,to any part of these specifications. <br /> 1.06 DELIVERY,STORAGE AND HANDLING <br /> A. Deliver transient voltage surge suppression equipment in factory fabricated containers or wrappings,which properly <br /> protect equipment from damage or construction dust. <br /> B. Store in original packaging. Store inside well-ventilated area protected from weather, moisture, soiling, extreme <br /> temperatures,humidity,and laid off ground. <br /> C. Handle carefully to prevent damage. Follow manufacturer's written instructions for handling, storing and <br /> installation.
