0 0 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> ti <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> SI'iOg�G NO. 5773 <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> FOR ADDITIONS TO <br /> ORONO HIGH SCHOOL, <br /> SCHUMANN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL,AND <br /> ORONO INTERMEDIATE SCHHOL <br /> PER SECTION 78-418(1) <br /> FILE NO. 08-3379 <br /> WHEREAS, Independent School District#278, a public corporation, <br /> (hereinafter"the Owner") is the is the owner of the properties located at 685, 765 and 795 Old <br /> Crystal Bay Road North within the City of Orono(hereinafter the"City") and legally <br /> described as: <br /> The East 430 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of <br /> Section 28, Township 118,Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian lying south of <br /> County Road No. 6. <br /> The Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 118, Range <br /> 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian except the north 66 feet of the west 66 feet <br /> thereof. <br /> The East 331 feet of the South 776 feet of Government Lot 1, Section 28, Township <br /> 118,Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian. <br /> Government Lot 1, Section 33, Township 118,Range 23 West of the 5th Principal <br /> Meridian, except roads. <br /> All in Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Wold Architects and Engineers has made application on <br /> behalf of the Owner to the City of Orono for approval of a conditional use permit to allow <br /> additions to these buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on September 15, 2008, at which time all persons desiring <br /> to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> .
