DIVISION 1 <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 01014 -BID DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS <br /> 1. GENERAL <br /> A. This section is intended to clarify the scope of work in each bid category. <br /> B. The Owner will award Separate Prime Contracts for the construction of the <br /> project. <br /> 2. BID PACKAGING <br /> A. Bid Divisions referenced in this section are for work to be performed at <br /> Existing Orono Middle School-New Media Center, Orono,Minnesota. <br /> 3. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. The Bid Division categories are constructed to follow as close as possible the <br /> CSI format of the contract documents. However, Bid Divisions may contain <br /> work described in more than one specification section and/or parts thereof. <br /> B. Local custom and trade-union jurisdictional settlements do not control the <br /> scope of work included in each Prime Contract. When a potential <br /> jurisdictional dispute or similar interruption of construction activities is first <br /> identified or threatened, the affected Contracts shall promptly negotiate a <br /> reasonable settlement to avoid or minimize the pending interruption and its <br /> delays. <br /> C. This section is intended to clarify the scope of work in each Bid Division. <br /> Each Bid Division includes all provisions of Division 1 Specifications. <br /> D.
