It is the bidder's (and <br /> Contractor's) responsibility to bring all discrepancies, ambiguities, omissions or <br /> matters in need of clarification to the attention of the Architect for interpretation and <br /> decision. <br /> 7. ADDENDA AND INTERPRETATIONS: Replies to inquiries, requests for <br /> interpretations or clarifications and requests for consideration of materials which <br /> involve or provide information that is not already a part of bidding information will <br /> be contained in addenda and shall become a part of Contract Documents and <br /> incorporated in all bids submitted. <br /> All bidders, submitting labor and/or supply bids, are responsible to ascertain what <br /> addenda have been issued prior to bid date, examining the addenda and determining <br /> the affect of addenda provisions on their Bid Division. <br /> Interpretations, clarifications, modifications and supplemental instructions in form of <br /> written addenda will be provided to all prime contract bidders on record at the <br /> Construction Manager's office, and to Builders Exchanges where plans are on file. <br /> Architect and Owner will not be responsible for or honor any claims resulting from, <br /> or alleged to be the result of, misunderstanding by the bidder(or Contractor) of verbal <br /> discussion of the Project conditions prior to receiving bids. All verbal comments <br /> made during the bidding period are subject to inclusion in addenda; otherwise, they <br /> shall not be binding on Owner or Architect. <br /> During construction, discrepancies, ambiguities and intent not clarified by addenda <br /> will be subject to interpretation of Architect only, and work shall be provided in <br /> accordance with Architect's interpretations. <br /> Bidders shall state on bid form the number of addenda received. <br /> 8. PLAN DEPOSIT FOR BIDDERS ON PRIME CONTRACTS: Prime Contract <br /> Bidders may obtain up to two sets of drawings and specifications for the entire Project <br /> from the Construction Manager's office, upon making a deposit of a check in the <br /> amount of..$25.00 per set. The full deposit for the fust set of drawings and <br /> specifications will be refunded to Bidders provided the drawings and specifications <br /> are returned in good condition within ten(10) days after the opening of bids. <br /> 9. PLANS FOR SUBCONTRACTORS, MATERIAL DEALERS & QUANTITY <br /> SURVEYORS: A complete set of drawings and specifications may be obtained from <br /> the Construction Manager's office, for the deposit sum stated in #8 above. Said <br /> documents shall remain the property of,and shall be returned to the Architect. <br /> Individual drawings may be purchased at a rate of $1.50 per print.
