Co., MN
A compliance Inspection was completed for the existing onsite sewage treatment
system located on this properly. The system consists of 2-1000 gallon septic tanks &4
trenches 87' long each = 3481in.ft., 1044sq.fk, Soil boring#1 found mottled soil at
elev.87.2. Soil borings Into the system found the bottom of the rock on the lowest
trench at elev.90.4 which leaves a 3.2' separation from the bottom of the trench &
saturated'soil. Boring #2 found no mottled soil to elev.86.0 &the bottom of the rock
was found at elev. 89.0 which leaves a 3 separation from the bottom of the trench &
mottled soil. This system meets the required 3' separation from the bottom of°tfe `
trenches & redox features & is classified as in compliance with Minnesota Ch 01r'
7080 rules.
The tanks were pumped by Sullival Utility Service which found the tanks to be water
tight.
Nothing other than gray water(laundry, showers, etc.) human waste &toilet tissue
should be disposed of into the septic tanks. Garbage disposals are not recommended,
due to adding more solids &fine solids passing through to the system. Recommend to
divert iron filters out of the system, recommend to divert the water softner also,if
diverting the iron filter. Excessive amounts of soaps, antibacterial soaps, cleaning
agents, shower cleaners used every shower&chlorine agents may kill the bbria
needed to treat septic effluent. Additives are not recommended. Recommefid'lo pump
& clean your tanks through the manhole by a certified pumper every 2 years:-?Check
with your pumper to set up a schedule_
'T'dt
This Certificate of Compliance is no guarantee that this system will continue°ta unction
indefinitely.
Steven B.
